Orchard Wassail!

What is it?

The Apple Wassail is an ancient tradition practiced in apple orchards during late winter.

It awakens the trees from their winter rest and prepare them for spring and a bumper crop. We bless them with mulled cider and pieces of toast dipped in cider to produce a good and healthy harvest.

This will be our first one: we are very much looking forward to it. Hopefully you’ll join us!

What do you need to bring?

Something to make a noise, like an instrument or even a pot and spoon to clang together. This is an outdoor event. If the weather is really bad we can be in the barns.
