Our community offerings
The English year used to be awash with layers of communal experience, from weekly connection to annual festivals. Much of this was lost when we abandoned folkloric and religious rhythms and handed community needs to the state.
To reclaim some of those patterns, we hope to be a hub for gathering and celebration.

In person
Weekly Prayer Walk
Every Wednesday at 9am we hold a weekly prayer walk where we walk, talk, connect and pray for one another and the area. If you aren’t the praying type, don’t worry you’re very welcome with no pressure.
As a heads up, we live in an undulating valley: inclines are an inevitable ’joy’… :-)
Thursday Youth Night
With four teenagers of our own, every first Thursday of the month, 6:30pm - 8:30pm we host a gathering for local youth Years 8 - 13. It’s mostly a hang out space with table tennis, basketball, indoor games etc. It includes a brief reflection in the spirit of an intentional youth group. John and Beth have both run church youth groups and been Chair of Governors of Primary and Secondary Schools.

Online
Fortnightly Stream
Every first Monday of the month at 12pm midday we stream an online discussion to gather around the ideas we are in pursuit of and build some common momentum.
Expect interesting dialogue, special guests and fun. It often includes a time of mystical, contemplative practice.
